  1. This Workshop stems from the recent constitution of a France-based research consortium (project ANR RAFFINE) having expertise in theory, implementation and large-scale industrial applications of the Boundary Element Methods (BEMs) and aiming at developing error estimation strategies for BEMs.

  1. The aim of the Workshop is to offer introductory invited lectures given by internationally recognized experts who develop error estimation and adaptive strategies for various numerical methodologies, in order to give a comprehensive overview of the field.
